Nikon won four awards at the 2019 TIPA World Award

Nikon has won four awards at once in the prestigious TIPA World Awards 2019, held annually by TIPA Technical Image Press Association , the leading photography and print association. Four products were the winners: The Nikon D3500 won Best DSLR Camera “Best DSLR Camera” , the Nikon Z 6 was named Best Full Frame Semi-Professional Camera “Best Full Frame Camera Expert” , Nikon Z 7 was named “Best Full Frame Professional Camera”, while the award for Best Mirrorless Wide Angle Zoom Lens went to the NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S in the “Best Mirrorless Wide Angle Zoom Lens” category.

TIPA officials on Nikon D3500’s Best DSLR Camera win

The Z 6 is designed for photographers who frequently shoot in low light and prefer to record full frame 4K UHD video. A 24.5 MP backlit CMOS sensor with focal plane phase detection AF works in combination with Nikon’s latest EXPEED 6 image-processing system to deliver a wide sensitivity range 100-51,200 ISO . With 273 focus points, it covers approximately 90% of the image area – both vertically and horizontally. Mid-range sharpening in the Picture Control menu allows photographers to sharpen or soften different textures in stills and video.

Known for its high resolution, the mirrorless Z 7 boasts a 45.7 megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor – allowing you to take big pictures that impress with their sharpness. Additionally, the lens is equipped with a stepping motor for precise and quiet AF, a highly sought-after feature in both still and video photography. The NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S is also renowned for its dust and moisture resistance, and its body features an adjustable ring for manual focus, aperture control and exposure compensation.
