Nikon announced the launch in America of a new digital SLR camera D850, which sets a new standard for quality photo and video. It has a combination of high resolution, speed and light sensitivity, allowing you to create flawless images both in the studio and in remote corners of the world.
The D850 gives every photographer the flexibility to showcase their creative side no matter what genre they’re working in – landscape, sports, wedding, fashion or video.
The FX-format sensor offers an ultra-high 45.7 MP effective resolution, resulting in images of 45.4 MP. Newly designed backlit CMOS sensor delivers exceptional detail and an incredible dynamic range.
Powerful image processing system EXPEED 5 guarantees high-quality images in the range of 64-25 600 ISO, expandable to values equivalent to the sensitivity of 32 to 102,400 ISO. Full sensitivity range is also available for 4K video recording.
The new camera was unveiled yesterday, and Nikon’s professional photographers and ambassadors shared their feedback on the new camera:
“The D850’s unmatched versatility is first and foremost. The combination of high resolution and dynamic range lets you create and enjoy the process. The camera works quickly and accurately, creating great pictures, and little things like a tiltable monitor makes working with it even more enjoyable,” says fashion photographer Oleg Zotov.
“The D850 offers nearly limitless creative possibilities and is suitable for those who are used to achieving outstanding results in everything. At the moment it’s out of competition if you want flexibility in number of megapixels, file size, speed, or ISO sensitivity,” says wedding photographer Rustam Khadzhibaev.
