The D6, Nikonās most advanced D-SLR to date, marks the 20th anniversary of the D-Series. Since the launch of the D1 in 1999, Nikonās flagship cameras have been perfected using the companyās industry-leading technology and know-how accumulated through years of camera development and advances in photography. As with previous models, the D6 is designed to meet the stringent demands of professional photographers for maximum performance even in the harshest of environments.
Nikon also announces the development of the new AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR, marking the 60th anniversary of the Nikon F mount on the D-Series. The new telephoto zoom lens is aimed at professional photographers who specialize in sports photography.
