Sony has added a new VMC-MM2 cable to its line of accessories for the RX0 compact camcorder that will expand its range of applications, opening up new possibilities for video recording.
The cable is used to synchronize the RX0 with a Sony alpha or Cyber-shot camera and allows you to shoot simultaneously on both devices, using the main camera’s video recording button to control.
Sony explains: “The dual-camera form is particularly useful for photographers and journalists shooting weddings, major events and press conferences. It offers the ability to capture a situation from different perspectives, using different angles of view when shooting videos that can later be edited and applied to compose impressive videos.”
Price and affordability
The new VMC-MM2 release cable will be available starting in April for $55
