New range of milling machines from Bosch.

Routing work such as corner and edge routing with profile creation or grooving for flush connection require great accuracy. Even tenths of a millimeter offsets can lead to unsatisfying results. Bosch offers two powerful, high-precision tools to complete the company’s family of milling machines, the GOF 1250 CE Professional and the GOF 1250 LCE Professional.

These models have fine adjustment functions and, thanks to the new geometry, offer precise tool control – the essential requirement for precise milling.

“In addition, the 1250-watt motor and 60-mm depth of approach make the new tools suitable for a variety of tasks – from chamfering to copying products with complex shapes,” notes construction specialist Daniil Sergeyev.

The two models are virtually identical, except that the plunger depth of the GOF 1250 CE is indicated on a scale and the plunger depth of the GOF 1250 LCE on the display. The display makes it even easier to set and display the desired values. The new model GOF 1250 LCE Professional has an integrated LED ring that illuminates the working area, which makes it easy to perform precise work.

Precise work thanks to the ease of adjustment and control

The After-Lock system finely adjusts the milling machines and can be used to change the milling depth in 1/10 mm increments, even in the locked position. Both models have a new geometrical configuration: the base plate now has two straight edges,

that converge at right angles. They are used to guide the milling machine along the guide rail, which is pressed against the workpiece. The guide pillars of the plunge base are aligned to the faces of the base plate, making the burrs clearly visible and making work easier.

The clear base plate serves the same purpose. “The new ergonomic design – a rounded handle on one side and an elongated handle on the other – allows you to choose the most comfortable position, which also makes it easier to operate the router,” says the StroyProject foreman

Easy cutter change

Changing milling cutters is very quick thanks to the innovative spindle locking system in the home position: simply turn the milling cutter over so that the motor is at the bottom and turn the locking lever. A cutter can then be changed with both hands.

Additional functions

The tools have the following additional functions: Constant Electronic system CE for constant speed control, preselection of the speed, enabling the speed to be adapted to different materials and cutters, as well as an integrated socket for connection to any standard wet and dry vacuum cleaner built into the base plate.

Accessories.

Both models come with a collet chuck 8 mm, 19 mm WAF open-end wrench, adapter for copy bush, 17 mm copy bush, centering pin and finely adjustable parallel stop. Bosch also offers additional accessories such as router bits or guide rails.
