However, since the firmware update 1.17.2 camera, in conjunction with the electronic shutter, allows the use of lenses from other manufacturers. That’s why NOVOFLEX is announcing a series of adapters that enable the use of full-frame as well as medium-format lenses on the Hasselblad X1D. Adapters are now available for the Leica R, Leica M, Nikon F and for the Hasselblad V-type. The adapter for Nikon lenses has a built-in mechanical aperture ring, which also allows it to be used with Nikkor G lenses. Adapters for Canon FD, Contax/Yashica, Minolta MD/MC and for the NOVOFLEX BALPRO series universal bellows are scheduled for release in early April 2018. None of the adapters will transfer information between the camera and the lens.
