New line of Fujitsu SP scanners

New York, June 09, 2015- Releasing the SP-1120, SP-1125 and SP-1130, Fujitsu PFU EMEA Ltd. subsidiary. Creates a new line of document scanners to complement the existing fi and ScanSnap series. Able to scan at speeds of 20, 25 and 30ppm A4 duplex color at 200/300dpi , the new SP series is specially designed for companies looking to increase their productivity. The SP-series can help organize efficient work of an employee, such as scanning for archives or mail processing in a small department. All SP series models come with PaperStream IP driver and image processing software to ensure maximum scanning quality.

PaperStream IP software for better scanning efficiency

While scanning, Fujitsu’s PaperStream IP software automatically generates an optimal image that delivers the highest quality results. The PaperStream IP with TWAIN/ISIS driver automatically detects the size, scanning mode single-sided or duplex and orientation and generates exceptionally sharp images to speed up the OCR Optical Character Recognition process. This feature remains effective even when scanning documents with watermarks and wrinkled or smudged documents. The scanners also come with ABBYY softwareFineReader Sprint for creating searchable files and Presto! PageManager for organizing and editing documents.

Compact design and ease of use

Compact size makes SP series models ideal for front desk or reception areas. At the same time, the intuitive two-button control panel Start/Stop button and Power button simplifies scanner operation and reduces the chance of errors. All scanners are equipped with a brake roller that provides precise page separation and an ultrasonic sensor that prevents misfeeding. Other features include a straight paper path to scan laminated cards, the ability to scan both sides of a document simultaneously, and a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder ADF .

SP-1120, SP-1125, SP-1130 scanners will be available from Fujitsu resellers starting June 2015.
