FUJIFILM Corporation is pleased to introduce the new FUJINON MKX18-55mmT2 lenses.9 and FUJINON MKX50-135mmT2.9 that will join the lineup of interchangeable lenses for mirrorless X-series cameras in June 2018.

These lenses provide top optical quality in a lightweight body approx. 1kg and comfortable performance for professional video shooting. MKX18-55mm and MKX50-135mm are the first completely handheld lenses in the X series of interchangeable lenses.
In 35mm format equivalent, the MKX18-55mm covers focal lengths from 27mm to 84mm, the MKX50-135mm covers from 76mm to 206mm. Combined with the X series’ unique color reproduction technology, the MKX lenses expand the options for professional video shooting.
The MKX18-55mm and MKX50-135mm lenses cover the most popular video range of 18-135mm with an aperture of T2.9 *4 across the focal length range, this allows for a shallow depth of field as well as a beautiful bokeh effect.

Lenses are optimized for video shooting by minimizing focus and image center shift along the optical axis during zooming, and by minimizing the effect of lens ‘breathing’ changing the angle of view during focusing .
The lenses have three control rings for manual and independent adjustment of focus, zoom and iris at 0.8M gears*4. 200° rotation of focus ring for precise focusing. These features make the lenses very convenient and comfortable to use
