New Daikin BRC1E53C wired remote control

Daikin has unveiled the BRC1E53C remote controller for the Sky Air series air conditioners, VRV indoor units and HRV ventilation units. The design of the BRC1E53C is similar to its predecessor, the popular BRC1E52A/B, but offers several new useful features.

As before, wired remote controller can simultaneously control sixteen indoor units or less . But with BRC1E53C it is possible to alternate the standby switching. Switching intervals range from 6 hours to a week, with only one unit in this mode. Another important new feature is the automatic back-up function: when a fault occurs in one of the operating units, the standby unit will automatically switch on the other unit. Both of these functions are needed in server rooms and operator stations, where the heat dissipation is high and the parameters of the air conditioning system are very stable.

Sky Air can reduce power consumption of Sky Air by up to 40% or 70%, according to the user’s choice. Quiet Outdoor Unit” function to reduce unit operating noise. User can also set the time interval after which the remote control turns off if the unit connected to a wired remote control is turned off. This feature reduces display power consumption.

If the remote control is used in a system running on R-32 refrigerant, information about this will be shown on the display.

The new BRC1E53C remote control is available from dealers of Daikin, an official distributor of Daikin.
