New compact pico projector from Aiptek: PocketCinema V100

New York, June 13, 2013, Aiptek, Taiwan manufacturer of compact video cameras, media devices and pico-projectors, presents PocketCinema V100, a compact projector for notebooks. Managers who travel frequently need to organize presentations and show slides to a large number of people are well aware that a good laptop alone is not enough for this – in this case you also need a convenient high-quality projector. And it should be not only compact and easy to transport, but also provide a sufficiently high level of brightness and color saturation.

Aiptek

The new V100 PocketCinema pico projector from Aiptek is perfect for such purposes. V100 is based on Texas Instruments’ DLP microchip used in full-size video projectors. V100 PocketCinema has a maximum brightness of 100 lumens and can produce bright and contrasting images with WVGA resolution 854 x 480 pixels and a diagonal of 300 cm.

The model is equipped with a wide range of interfaces, including HDMI and AVI, USB-connector, headphone jack and a slot for SD memory cards, which allows the owner to be ready for almost any situation. And optional adapters provide the ability to connect via VGA or component video cable. Also, by connecting the projector to a smartphone running Android or Blackberry, the user can not only show on the projection screen of any content stored in its memory, but also to recharge the mobile terminal.

V100 PocketCinema is equipped with a built-in battery, which lasts two hours of continuous work, made possible only by the use of energy-saving RGB-LEDs in the construction of the pico-projector, with a lifetime of 20,000 hours. Built-in media player is capable of displaying photos, playing MP3 files and supports decoding of all standard video formats including MKV with a resolution up to 1080p. So the V100 PocketCinema will be a great addition to your home theater or spontaneous movie night.
