Advanced thermal sublimation printer technology delivers 16.7 million colors in high-resolution prints. For even sharper results, the CP1000 employs an Auto Image Optimization feature that enhances colors for the sky and sunset, corrects shades and contrast, and removes red-eye and noise. If you’re printing a portrait or group shot, use skin-smoothing mode to make the people in your photo look their best.

Full range of creative features

By varying the thermal temperature of the print head and ribbon, the SELPHY CP1000 gives you four coatings without replacing paper and ink: a glossy finish for long-lasting photos that can last up to 100 years and three semi-glossy finishes that prevent smudges and fingerprints.

You can also choose the size of the print, whether it’s a standard postcard size or an unusual format like 50×50 for Instagram™ photos or credit card size. Document printing has 43 preset options: this feature will appeal to small office owners and event planners who need to print large quantities of photos for badges or passes in a short amount of time.
