Acer announces Swift 7 SF714-52T , an exceptionally thin and light notebook in a new design that gives the display maximum freedom. Already won the CES 2019 Innovation Award. Ultra-thin bezels make the screen virtually frameless and give the 14-inch Swift 7 an impressive 92 percent display-to-body ratio. It runs on Windows 10 and is surprisingly lightweight at just 890g. For professionals who spend a lot of time on the road and need to take their notebook with them, the light weight is perfect. The Swift 7 can easily slip into a briefcase or small bag and feels almost weightless.

Unbelievable 92% screen to chassis size ratio
Engineering has made it possible to equip the Swift 7 with the latest technology while significantly reducing the size of the body compared to the previous model. A bezel measuring just 2.57 mm2 gives you a notebook with a width and depth that are as narrow as 317.9 x 191.5 mm 12.51 x 7.53 in . Like its predecessors, the Swift 7 SF714-52T is still remarkably thin and light, measuring 9.95 mm 0.39″ thin and 890 g 1.96 lbs .
Swift 7’s rugged body is made of magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum alloys. These materials are two to four times stronger than standard aluminum alloys, but 20-35% lighter. This reduced the weight to 890g 1.96 lbs . In addition, Acer has applied micro-arc processing to the chassis to create a ceramic coating effect.

Thunderbolt 3 and Advanced Wi-Fi connectivity

Intuitive features
The design of the Swift 7 delivers exceptional usability. Intuitive key layout, 1.1mm pressure depth and responsiveness allow for typing with minimum typos. Backlit keyboard provides comfortable typing in low-light conditions.
Glass touchpad with Corning Gorilla Glass coating gives quick, responsive touch for scrolling and navigation. It features a built-in key, multi-touch gesture support and provides good physical response. Power button acts as a fingerprint reader, so notebook owners can turn it on with Windows Hello, a secure way to sign in without a password.
The new Swift 7 features a webcam for chatting and video recording that can be closed to prevent unintentional use and preserve privacy. The camera provides a 55-degree angle of view and features High Dynamic Range HDR for a wider viewing angle for easy group communication.
