New 23.8-inch 4K UHD monitor
- Excellent image detail at a small size
- Maximum resolution for a minimum price
Incredibly bright and clear images
Despite its small size, this monitor gives you more working space. The effect is achieved through the brightness and incredible picture clarity in 4K. UHD resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels on the screen, four times more than a Full HD monitor can show. The result is an incredibly detailed picture with more screen real estate for videos, games and programs. Those who work with financial spreadsheets can see more rows and columns at the same time without straining their eyesight. More details will be seen with high resolution content. Easily zoom in and out to see the whole picture and you can display up to four different versions of a picture at the same time.
Albert Ulfman, EMEA product manager at Philips, notes: “The new Philips 241P6VPJKEB
One of the first 23.8-inch 4K monitors on the market. It delivers a perfect picture clarity for any task and blends perfectly with the new features of Windows 10. With this model we wanted to give users a one-stop solution for work and play.
Color reproduction and performance
Support for 4K UHD resolution sets the bar high for monitor components, but the 241P6VPJKEB does not lag behind its “big brothers” in anything. The 10-bit display is capable of displaying more than 1.074 billion colors to make the picture look as natural as possible, without distortion or artifacts. With a 99 percent sRGB gamut, all colors on the screen look the same as they do in real life, so will appear the same on different devices. AH-IPS panel offers high contrast and excellent viewing angles to enhance the feeling of space from 4K resolution. AH-IPS technology is well suited for graphics applications that require accurate color and high brightness levels.
Connectivity options
The new monitor not only supports 4K UHD. It was designed with users in mind who live in a world of constant interaction with a wide variety of gadgets. The 241P6VPJKEB supports MultiView, which makes it possible to display images from two devices such as a TV and a computer at the same time. MHL allows you to view content on your monitor from your connected mobile device, or quickly charge your mobile device using one of the USB 3 ports.0. And for communication, this model has a built-in webcam and microphone.
The new Philips 241P6VPJKEB/00 monitor will be available in American retail in early 2016 at an estimated price of 549 euros.
