Netgear unveiled smart mobile innovations at CES 2015

January 19, 2015 – Netgear NASDAQ: NTGR netgear.com , a global manufacturer of networking products for home and enterprise users and service providers, participated in CES 2015, where it unveiled a number of innovative devices, six of which managed to win related awards. Netgear partners, press, customers, and visitors were able to see all of the new products on display.

The highlight of CES2015 for Netgear were the awards received by the company’s six new products. Among them: products from the ArloSmartHome series(for smart homes , the latest version of the Nighthawk router, ReadyNAS home systems and a new type of ProSAFE® Click Switch network switch.

Six Netgear products won awards at this year’s CES Innovations Design & Engineering Awards, sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association CEA . The following devices by category won awards:

Netgear has developed and introduced a new category of network switches designed for maximum ease of installation and network layout in homes and offices. New ProSAFE® Click Switch product series network switches netgear.com/clickswitch are equipped with a special mounting system for convenient device placement. Currently, the series is represented by two devices: for 8 and 16 ports. The small, slim chassis and recessed power supply also contribute to the positive appearance of the device and its usability. Easy “point-and-click” mounting system allows switches to be mounted vertically or horizontally, even in previously impossible locations. New items are designed specifically for those who need reliable storage for large amounts of data photos, videos, etc. .p. . The devices are available in two-disk and four-disk versions and can transfer files at speeds of up to 200 Mbytes per second. The premium 802 series has been particularly successful.11ac Nighthawk routers. The repeater allows you to boost your 802 bandwidth.11ac network up to 1900 Mbps in dual-channel mode, making it the fastest and most powerful WiFi repeater on the market. The AC1200 WiFi Range Extender EX6150 was also introduced recommended U.S. retail price $119.99 and AC750 WiFi Range Extender – Essentials Edition EX3700 US recommended retail price $79.99 . With these WiFi repeaters, battling wireless dead spots is easy and enjoyable. All devices are powered by updated Netgear genie software, support hotspot capability, and have extensive configuration options including parental controls . New NETGEAR genie user interface automatically adjusts to the screen size of the device, from which you control WiFi repeater.
