NEC’s new 31-inch 4K monitor delivers accurate color reproduction

NEC Display Solutions has unveiled the flagship model of its PA-series line of professional displays. The new MultiSync PA311D monitor is a 31-inch IPS display with enhanced color reproduction and 4K 4096×2160 resolution. It is ideal for designers, photographers and video content producers in industries where image quality and color accuracy is crucial.

HDR-ready, it delivers the best image quality and accurate color reproduction with a 10-bit IPS image sensor and a color gamut covering all professional color spaces sRGB, Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 and standard video color spaces Rec. 709, Rec. 2100 .

The MultiSync® PA311D supports HLG and PQ HDR, and includes NEC’s dedicated color processor, SpectraView II Engine. Always-on ambient light sensor ensures consistent color and brightness for the life of the display and low-latency mode for live video. In addition, support for Picture in Picture, Picture by Picture and ICC profile simplifies color management. PA311D monitor supports USB-C and charging devices up to 65W.

Combined with USB-C it offers best-in-class connectivity with two DisplayPorts 1.2 and 2 HDMI as well as USB 3 hub.1.The PA311D display supports additional touch functions and features a 150mm adjustable base with tilt and swivel capabilities for perfect ergonomics. An optional HD2PA31 display cap is also available for it.
