Appearance and ergonomics

I wonder all the time: how parents unmistakably recognize their twins? Here’s a layout of the entire arsenal of “nails” in front of me: Nail 1, 2×2, 3, 4. And I began to examine them from three meters: all of them are silver, with aluminum body, they all have the same shape as “small-sized” sleeves, all are tangled by a nice twisted cable and “sharpened” by Neutrik 3,5 mm jack. The entire line is protected by a replaceable filter against moisture and sulfur – these “ingredients” are critical to the sound and vitality of the armature receiver. The fit is very comfortable, without fancy, the ears are light and pleasant on all fronts.

And “papa Roma” I mean Roman Zaitsev recognizes his brainchild from three meters and without glasses? To my question, he answered this way: “with the right attachments, you can get pretty decent noise isolation for any model in the line”..

In general we have already had all what we need to get pleasure from listening favorite compositions, and now let’s move on to the main thing, to the sound.

Sound

We listened on MyST DAC 1866OCU V.2, Lotoo paw Gold, Sony PCM-D100, Hifiman HM-601, QLS QA-360. With all sources, the headphones played at the proper level.

I would describe the sound of Myst Nail 3 as light, light, smooth, with a slight accent in the midrange. “Virtual scene” – medium-sized, shallow, voluminous, sounds more or less harmoniously. The sound has a pleasant coloration, which gives an individual lightness and fluffiness.

The bass lines sound assembled, fast and with enviable power. Ears play off string arrangements beautifully, elegantly. Jazz, blues, rock and many other songs have a captivating effect.

If I were to label the Nail 3 in one word, I would say this: the sound is melodic. The treble is so melodious that listening to favorite songs turns into a musical loading of my unconscious. They serve stuff with such intricate “patterns and laces”, you unwillingly relax from such a high. Total buzz – that’s the exact definition of the sound signature of the “three”.

Nail3 combines the fusion and detail of the soundstage in an amazing way. The picture is drawn in light pastel colors. The material is served easily, without a share of aggression, while being quite tight and percussive. But with the overall solidity of the feed, the “three-speaker” plays back with good speed and enviable resolution.

It’s worth noting the low impedance of these headphones, which clearly hints at less dependence on the source. In short, the Nail 3 sounded pretty good, even from my smartphone and small Sansa clip player+.

As always, the hallmark of all headphones brand MyST – it’s comfortable sound. You can listen to music in Nail 3 without straining all day long, unless, of course, no one in the house will be “in the head”…

Headphones

Bottom line

HF – slightly softened, clean, comfortable. A little “rough” in places, but not critical, more of a reaction to the quality of the recording/recording.

The midrange is perfect for my tastes. There is a little accent in this area, but just right, which gives the sound an appealing “charm”. The midrange is the ultimate in “treble.”. The middle part is very beautiful, informative, with lacy detail, and at the same time it is not falling apart into components, but served as a solid array.

Bass is fast, harsh, well-defined. Quantitatively there is not much of it, but there are no complaints about the quality.

Conclusion

Mist again pleased his fans a good quality product, not devoid of personality and unique sound, unlike the other models of the line.

Price in mycroft online store.su for the Nail3 model – 11,000 Dollars. The price tag is more than friendly in my opinion.

Sound, comfort, price.

Lack of accessories.
