Moments of Maxim Bedov’s landscape

On the eve of the opening of Maxim Bedov’s exhibition Portfolio #2 a documentary about the photographer and his work was premiered on the YouTube channel PhotarTV. The Photar reporters visited the artist’s shootings and had a close look at the darkrum he made in his home.

Maxim Bedov is a photographer in the classical sense of the word. In his work, he follows the traditions of American classical photography, working in his own darkroom, using classical technology and completely eliminating digital photographic processes. In 2016, took an advanced Darkroom Advanced Technique course with John Sexton, an assistant and follower of Ansel Adams.

Maxim Bedov’s exhibition opening on February 25 in the Gallery of Classical Photography will feature a series of 40 new works. Participants of the vernissage this Friday will be the first to see the American landscape against the backdrop of the great American photographic tradition. Event starts at 7 p.m.00. Free admission.
