Functionality
The wall-mounted split system can supply fresh ambient air into the room and, if necessary, humidify the room. No special water tank required. Outdoor unit takes moisture from the ambient air. Clean and humidified air from the air conditioner does not accumulate in the upper part of the room but distributes evenly throughout the room by convective mixing.
When air conditioning a room of 24m² and 2.7m ceiling height, the air will be fully discharged after 2 hours of continuous operation, and the CO content will be significantly lower than that of a conventional split system.
Each horizontal flap of Daikin indoor air conditioner has its own actuator to make the airflow strictly directional.
The unit uses a two-stage air purification scheme – in the outdoor and indoor units. In the first stage, a special catalyst decomposes unpleasant odors and removes unnecessary impurities such as exhaust fumes that may be present in the ambient air. Second cleaning stage contains a photocatalytic filter and a streamer discharge source. The air conditioning system supplies not only fresh air but also absolutely clean air. Filter lifetime up to 3 years.
In case of switching on the Sensor mode, the split-system switches automatically to the energy-saving mode in 20 minutes, if no motion is detected in the room in the meantime, and to the stand-by mode in 40 minutes if no motion is detected.
