The blender is designed for mixing liquids, sauces, soups, mixing soft ingredients pancake batter, mayonnaise , making purees for baby food from boiled foods. The manufacturer recommends that you keep the volume to a minimum: no more than 2 cm in a jug.

The whisk can be used to whip cream, egg whites, pancakes, etc. No volume limitation. I would note that the recommendations for whipping the protein are very knowledgeable. Contrary to popular opinion, they should not be whipped at maximum speed: first the whites have to be mixed into a single substance, and then you need to turn on the maximum speed for whipping. This is exactly how the instructions for the model advise preparing the cream.

But the chopper is designed for processing nuts, meat, onions, cheese, garlic, herbs, dry bread. Manufacturers also limit the volume to2cm.

The chart calls for a 200-250g limit for solids. Maximum quantity of liquid is 500 ml.

It comes with two working containers: a 600 ml tall glass 100 mg increments and a 600 ml chopper bowl 100 mg increments .

One difference from the competition: The chopper has no lid, which is usually fixed to the bottom of the bowl.

Test # 1. Ice

The instructions don’t say anything about crushing ice, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I put 6 pieces of ice in the shredder, pre-frozen in the freezer. I use disposable bags for freezing, sold in supermarkets. I turned the chopper on and after a minute I got small crumbs. The speed was on minimum, i.e. by using the “turbo” button the process goes much faster.

Result: the shredder handles difficult tasks, enough power and sharpness of the knife.

Test No. 2. Chop without a care

200g of bread turned into a smooth pastry in a minute, no pieces and particles scattered all over the walls. I added an egg and a spoonful of flour and after 30 seconds I got a tender minced meat for a liver pie.

Bottom line: the shredder does a great job.

Test no. 3. Blender

I used it to puree fresh strawberries. I used a tall glass for mixing. No problems. The first seconds the blender “fought” with whole berries, chopping them, and then turned them into a smooth puree. No 2 cm! The blender is stronger than the manufacturer thinks, the tall glass was filled with strawberries by a third, and this did not interfere with the nozzle, everything was chopped.

I then put the nozzle to the test in the soup bowl – puréed the soup. The challenge is to see if the liquid will splatter.

Bottom line: The nozzle works fine and does the job. When stirring liquids in a shallow dish there is practically no splashing when operated at minimum speed.

Test #4. Whisk

With the whisk I made pancake batter: I beat the eggs, added sugar and salt, flour and milk, and stirred everything – and it’s done.

Bottom line: the whisk works as it should.

Operation and comfort

Position: Speed selector on the handle, trigger and turbo button on the housing. Buttons are large, in the form of trapezes, separated from each other by a wide, hard strip.

Material: the body has a metal finish with the manufacturer’s logo on it. The control panel is made of silver colored plastic, the same color is on the “top” of the handle, where the speed switch is located. Between the silver parts the body is shiny, black. The color combination is good. The plastic has a very tactile, non-slip surface.

Body ergonomics: the top of the blender, where the control panel is located, is narrower than the bottom. It makes the blender easy to hold, even though it has a heavy grip. Dimensions of the body have been carefully designed to fit the hand of an adult.

Speeds: smooth changeover from low to high. The manufacturer does not specify the number of speeds. There are a total of 17 notches on the rotary knob, indicating minimum and maximum. Handy to have a notch on the body, so you can see at a glance which speed has been set. Each new notch is wider than the previous one, making it easy to see if the speed has been increased. When you turn the regulator you hear a pleasant click, similar to those that occur when you wind up the alarm clock.

Attachment of attachments: the blender and whisk are inserted in the grooves. A small amount of force is needed. There is a characteristic “click” when clipping the head. To remove the frother press the two buttons on the body with one hand and take out the frother with the other. Everything is simple, even a teenager can cope.

The closing mechanism of the lid of the shredder is designed differently. On the lid itself in three places there are small protruding plastic circles, and on the inside of the chopper body there are three recesses. When putting on the lid, turn it clockwise a little so that the small circles fit into the recesses. In this case, you hear a characteristic click. The system is simple and yet robust enough.

Storage

Not much in the way of accessories. Blender with shredder can be stored on the desktop – it looks stylish, does not spoil the interior, and the other attachments can be easily placed on the shelf of the kitchen set.

Midea

Affordable price, all necessary accessories included, convenient operation, enough power even for shredding ice.

No indication that the bowl can be washed in the dishwasher, not very long cord, no cover for the chopper bowl.
