Manfrotto added three new models to its range of tripods: Befree Advanced Carbon Fiber , Befree GT and Befree Live Carbon Fiber . The first two models are designed for normal filming, while Befree Live Carbon Fiber is designed for video filming with DSLR cameras or similar formats. All three tripods feature Manfrotto’s new M-Lock locking system and come with a pouch for easy storage and transportation.
Befree Advanced Carbon Fiber, as the name implies, is a version of the model that uses carbon fiber as the material for the legs, instead of aluminum. Opened at a maximum height of 1,524 mm and 410 mm when folded. The tripod legs have four sections and are adjustable in three different angles: 22°, 54° i 89°. The Befree Advanced Carbon Fiber features the 494 Center Ball Head and weighs 1.2 lbs
The Befree GT tripod is available in both carbon fiber and aluminum and features the 496 Center Ball Head. It supports equipment weight up to 9.9 kg. The tripod has a maximum height of 1,640 mm and a minimum height of 431 mm. Just like the Befree Advanced, the legs of the tripod consist of four sections and are adjustable in three positions: 22°, 54° i 89°. The aluminum version weighs 1.85 kg, while the carbon version weighs 1.53 kg
Befree Live Carbon Fiber tripod is made of carbon fiber and weighs 1.38 kg. This tripod is specifically designed for shooting video and features the Befree Live Fluid Head with a fluid pan and tilt system that provides smooth camera movements during video recording. The head also has locks for individual locking and unlocking horizontal and vertical movement. Tripod legs also consist of four sections and can be fixed in three basic positions, forming an angle of 22 °, 54 ° or 89 °. The maximum height of the tripod when unfolded is 1500 mm and the minimum height is 400 mm.
