Lowepro has released updated versions of its ProTactic series of photographic backpacks

Lowepro Inc. releases the new BP 350 AW II and BP 450 AW II backpacks, which are upgrades of the existing ProTactic series. Both backpacks have revised interior access points, as well as a new modular storage system, with more flexibility, allowing for optimal placement of any set of equipment.

FormShell technology allows backpacks to be lightweight and rugged enough to protect gear from sharp impacts. ActivZone system enhances carrying comfort by providing effective ventilation, as well as extra support at the shoulder blades, waist and lower back. Both backpacks have a removable belt that can be used to attach additional accessories from Lowepro’s arsenal, such as a lens pouch, bottle holder or smartphone case.

Photo equipment

Backpacks capacity is for a set of equipment consisting of one DSLR camera with attached lens, eight lenses or flashes, a small drone, stabilizer and tripod that attaches to the back of the backpack. The size difference is that the ProTactic BP 350 AW II holds a DSLR camera with a 24-70mm F2 lens.8, while the BP 450 AW II allows for a camera with a 70-200mm F2 lens. 8. The smaller backpack also has a CradleFit sleeve for holding a 13-inch notebook, while the same sleeve in the larger backpack holds a 15-inch notebook

Backpacks are available to order through the company’s website. The BP 350AW II backpack is priced at $220, the BP 450 AW II backpack is available for $260.
