New York, September 3, 2013. – LG Electronics LG is organizing the Festival of Technology, which will be held in the shopping malls of the largest American cities from August 31 to October 20, 2013. The festival will demonstrate LG’s latest achievements in the audio and video technologies for home use. The festival will cover such cities as New York, St. Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Izhevsk, Samara, Kazan, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk.
LG Tech Festival is aimed to introduce people to the latest smart technologies, explain in a simple and easy way how modern technologies work and what benefits they bring to our everyday life. Taking part in fascinating contests and amusing quizzes, children and adults playfully understand the huge variety of useful features offered by advanced models of LG TV sets, home theaters, soundbars, Blu-ray players, computer monitors and other consumer electronics.
As part of the Festival, LG is presenting flagship models:

– BH9530TW – multi-functional stylish 9.Cinema 3D 1-channel home theater system with 1,460 watts of sound,
– The BB5530A is a soundbar with lifelike surround sound, Ultra HD picture conversion and an elegant design,
– 3D Blu-ray karaoke system BKS-1000 with a microphone, a disc of 1000 karaoke songs video and lyrics in 3D and a catalog of songs,
– NB4530A ultra-compact sound panel with wireless synchronization with LG TV 2013. via Bluetooth,
– LG Pocket Photo PD233 for printing from smartphones on the go,
– A children’s educational tablet KidsPad, which will appear in America in November,
– 29EA93 ultra wide monitor with cinematic aspect ratio 21:9 and many others.
In each city, the festival area is divided into demonstration zones, where you can clearly see the benefits of key LG technologies for users of all ages. Young visitors will be able to compete in video games on LG TVs and computer monitors, including, using Microsoft Xbox 360 console with Kinect , as well as get acquainted with the LG KidsPad educational tablet for kids. Adults will appreciate the 3D technology in LG TV sets with easy and comfortable 3D glasses, the features and capabilities of LG Smart TV, providing access to a huge range of information, education and entertainment services from the TV screen, an impressive effect of immersion in the 3D sound of home theater systems and soundbars. Everyone will be able to demonstrate their singing talent in the 3D Karaoke contests.
Also, in the Festival’s demo zones, visitors will be able to experience first-hand the Magic Remote capabilities for both Smart TVs and the BP730 Blu-ray player, including voice commands, convert 2D images into 3D and back on LG TVs, and try out the Smart Share technology, Mirror multimedia display function Miracast, check the opportunity to listen to sound through a smartphone, without disturbing the neighbors, with technology Private Sound, based on home theater systems, soundbars and Blu-ray players LG, enjoy the excellent quality of surround sound. And computer game lovers, can fight each other using the Dual Play function, which allows two players to play on the same TV screen or computer monitor at the same time, with each of them seeing their part of the game on the full screen.
Several times a day on the main stage of the festival there will be dancers’ performances and wide entertaining program.
