LG SIGNATURE premium brand teamed up with Tatler magazine to host a private screening of Downton Abbey.
Public Talk was dedicated to the skills of people who have achieved great success in their spheres of activity: Artem Oganov, an outstanding scientist-crystallographer, Professor of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, famous film directors and producers Rezo Gigineishvili and Egor Konchalovsky, Ksenia Markova, specialist in Western European etiquette and member of International Association of Protocol Experts.
During the discussion, participants shared with the guests their understanding of what true craftsmanship is.
According to Artem Oganov, who developed the USPEH method of predicting crystal structures, which is used worldwide, discipline is very important for a scientist. The scientist noted that when you look at LG SIGNATURE appliances you can clearly see the hard work, inspiration, beautiful solutions and the use of engineering and mathematical achievements. According to Rezo Gigineishvili, producer and film director, the skill of a director is the appreciation that the audience gives him, the response that the film finds in their hearts and minds and that makes the viewer stop and think. And the ability to show the audience exactly the picture he had in mind plays an important role.
For Egor Konchalovsky, film director and producer, friend of LG SIGNATURE, mastering is an opportunity to influence people greatly, making them smarter and better. In his opinion when the cinema is economical with words and at the same time the visual component is strong it is a masterly movie. Rezo Davidovich and Egor Andreevich as the LG SIGNATURE brand ambassadors noted the realistic color rendering and enormous image contrasts on the screen of LG SIGNATURE W9 OLED TV set.
OLED technology is different in that 8 million self-luminous pixels create a wide color gamut based on deep black, which means that all the tones are displayed accurately and the film on the screen looks exactly as the author intended it.
The new Alpha 9 processor of the second generation helps to create the effect of full immersion. It analyzes sports, movies, music broadcasts and adjusts the picture and sound based on the genre of the film or TV show, and automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen to the lighting in the room. The sound will be directed at the beholder. Memorizing your preferences and habits, the processor itself will find the content you are interested in and the best settings.
Ksenia Markova, an expert in Western European etiquette and a member of the International Association of Protocol Experts, told the guests about the ethics and culture of food serving, the subtleties of table behavior and proper table serving. In addition, she shared the tradition of wine etiquette. Her assistant in a visual presentation was a LG SIGNATURE wine cabinet with several temperature modes, creating ideal conditions for simultaneous storage of up to 65 bottles of various types of wines and champagne.
Wine cabinet features the same original solutions as in the refrigerator – tinted glass not to open the door unnecessarily, preventing unwanted temperature fluctuations and automatic opening of the door. The pull-out shelves are made of wood and stainless steel. Two drawers with adjustable temperature under the freezer or refrigerator compartment allow you to store products such as cheeses, meats, prepared foods, and beverages.
An expert in gentle washing is the LG SIGNATURE washing machine with two drums – a big one and a mini one at the base. Now you can wash clothes of different fabrics simultaneously or independently of each other. Steam washing function helps to clean clothes without effort and detergents, remove allergens and unpleasant odors.
A unique round LCD display on the main drum allows controlling the machine as with a smartphone.
LG SIGNATURE climate system, whose operation is very important especially in winter, also attracted the special attention of the guests. It provides ultraviolet-treated humidified, purified and ionized air. And watching its transparent panel we see the whole process of air purification, including water droplets, creating the feeling of a warm summer rain.
Evening from LG SIGNATURE, Tatler magazine and the New York Cinema ended with a pre-premiere screening of “Downton Abbey”.
