LG Q8 – a new poweusaul Q-series multimedia smartphone in a compact format

LG Electronics has announced the imminent arrival of a new model of powerful, stylish and reliable smartphone LG Q8. The new smartphone will implement the core functionality of LG’s flagship line – in particular, the V series devices designed for “advanced users,” while the model is optimized for one-handed operation and has a wide range of uses. As the second device announced in LG’s latest Q series, the compact LG Q8 smartphone will offer users Hi-Fi-quality sound, advanced photo and video capabilities, as well as robust water and dust protection.

When developing the Q8, LG drew on its extensive experience in photography and video recording technology. In particular, the smartphone features Steady Record 2 image stabilization.0, allowing to carry out a smooth video recording, leveling out the vibrations when shooting on the move.

From the LG flagship Q8 smartphone inherited dual main camera: wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 135 degrees captures a large space in the frame when shooting indoors and outdoors, and a standard lens – with a viewing angle of 78 degrees.

Selfie-camera module is equipped with a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees for collective selfies, and the ability to switch to a standard viewing angle of 83 degrees. With features like these, the LG Q8 can truly be a dream come true for avid photo enthusiasts.

With LG Q8 sound quality takes to a new level thanks to the function of Hi-Fi sound recording with two AOP microphones, which minimize background noise when used in open areas. Audio files are stored in 24-bit 48 kHz linear pulse code modulation format, the same format used in movies. As one of the first smartphone manufacturers to offer the ability to manually adjust the video recording mode, LG implemented in the Q8 a mechanism for precisely adjusting every aspect of the video recording process.

But that’s not all – the smartphone features a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad digital-to-analog converter DAC from ESS Technology, one of the world’s leaders in the production of high-quality audio devices. Quad DAC reduces white noise by 50% and increases audio quality to Hi-Fi level, providing high definition and richness of sound, usually uncharacteristic for smartphones.

And the HD Audio Recorder feature allows you to record studio-quality audio files in 24-bit 192 kHz format without loss of quality in FLAC format . Especially for those who want full control over the sound recording process, the HD Audio Recorder for LG Q8 has a “studio” mode that can meet the highest demands.

Customizable second display, always on standby, located at the top of the main display. It features icons for quick access to contacts, tools and apps. For the fans of games the smartphone has a new generation graphics processor with 3D support and Vulkan interface, which presents even the most powerful and resource demanding games at their best.

Moreover, the LG Q8 smartphone has a high level of protection against water and dust, which is very relevant for summer holidays. The device with the degree of dust and moisture protection IP67 can be underwater up to one meter deep for up to 30 minutes, which means that the owner of LG Q8 can take his smartphone almost anywhere without fear of splashing, sandstorms and other possible trouble. The smartphone is protected by a metal frame with rounded corners, which absorbs most of the shock and vibration.
