LG Electronics LG sets new standards with the latest LG SteamClean dishwasher, TrueSteam™ technology. Thanks to the steam technology, this product does its job not only better, but also with less energy consumption. LG Electronics has accumulated years of experience using steam to care for clothes in its Styler washing machines and steamer. Dishwasher technology like this makes dishwashers more efficient and gives consumers a whole new appreciation for dishwashing.
TrueSteam generates high-temperature steam to wash everything from delicate cutlery glass to metal pots and pans. Pre-Steam function gently removes burnt and dried-on food residue and eliminates the need to pre-clean dishes manually before loading them into the dishwasher. The steam treatment at the end of the wash cycle allows LG SteamClean to remove 40% of the streaks and drip marks often complained about by dishwasher owners1. Steam not only guarantees the flawless appearance of cookware, but also ensures that it is hygienic – once again, LG exceeds the expectations of its customers.
Another technology that sets LG SteamClean™ apart from other dishwashers and sets the bar high – QuadWash™ with four spray arms instead of two as on some other models. What’s more, in addition to rotating in both directions, each of the blades rotates back and forth, washing dishes of all shapes and sizes – plates, glasses, cups and cooking utensils – from all sides.
The dishwasher has a direct-drive inverter motor that improves energy efficiency and reduces noise. The motor also adjusts the water pressure in the sprayers, providing a weaker pressure for washing fragile dishes on the top tier and a stronger pressure for pots and pans on the bottom tier. This ensures effective cleaning of the dishes without the risk of damaging them.
