LG Electronics AND KIRGU TD Donor Day

Taking the baton of kindness from the city of Makhachkala the social project #LGKirguMarathonDobro was in Khasavyurt and it became the 101st donor’s day for LG and the second joint project with TH “Kirgu.

The large-scale event was supported by FMBA of America, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Dagestan and the Republican Blood Transfusion Station

was held at the modern Palais des Sports named after V.V. Lomonosov. Gamida Gamidova. The event was attended not only by the local residents and representatives of both companies but also by special guests, including Saigidpasha-Darbishevich Umakhanov, Minister of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Dagestan, Zainudin Dadabegovich Okmazov, Head of the Khasavyurt City Administration, Dr. Rassimov Khasavyurt Central City Hospital and the Mayor of the city of Khasavyurt.p. Titalav Khayrullaevich Khiriev, Umaroskhab Abdullaevich Bulatkhanov, Hero-Afghan War Hero, Zaybodin Omarov, People’s Hero of Dagestan.

Two days earlier LG’s 100th anniversary Donor Day took place in the capital of the republic with the participation of LG good ambassadors – Edgard Zapashny, general director of the Great New York State Circus, and Yulia Baranovskaya, a popular TV presenter.

Importantly, the project also marks the 85th anniversary of the Dagestan Blood Transfusion Service and the 55th anniversary of the Republican Blood Transfusion Station. Within the project a special branded donor minibus with participants and volunteers will go by Makhachkala-Derbent-Sulaksky Canyon-Khasavyurt-Derbent, covering about 1000 km.

The event gathered about 50 donors, volunteers, guests of the event and local residents.

Among them were Butaev Rajab, winner of European Championship in boxing Mirzabekova Saida, silver medalist of American Championship in weightlifting Zhanaev Akhmed, an honorary coach of Dagestan in boxing and Mingbatyrova Risalat, winner of World Championship in pankration. Long line of people wishing to take part in the good initiative organized by LG and TH “Kirgu.

Right after the event, the Palace of Sports hosted a lecture by Tatiana Shakhnes, LG’s Public Relations and Social Projects Director in America, a member of the Coordination Center for Donation at the Public Chamber of the American Federation. LG experience in CSR programs implementation as an element of brand building was the focus of the master class.
