Let’s hit the crisis with new products! LG introduced a new line of OLED and ULTRA HD televisions and advanced sound systems

New York, February 25, 2015.- LG Electronics LG today unveiled its 2015 lineup, including unique curved OLED TVs, ULTRA HD 4K televisions ranging from 40″ to 105″ and an updated lineup of Full HD CINEMA 3D TVs. The range of audio and video products was represented by SMART AUDIO wireless audio systems, X-Boom superpower mini systems with DJ effects and a renewed range of soundbars. LG has once again confirmed that it remains the only manufacturer of OLED TVs for a wide range of consumers by introducing new models of 55-, 65- and 77-inch OLED TVs with flat and curved screens to the American market. All OLED TV models use proprietary WRGB technology, where a white sub-pixel is added to the pixel structure, which helps create improved and more realistic colors, including perfect black, with maximum contrast.

LG’s Optimized True Color technology adjusts color stability regardless of brightness level and provides an unparalleled viewing experience with more natural and comfortable colors. With a maximum response time of 0.001ms, LG OLED TVs are 1,000 times faster than conventional flat panel LCDs. Even when viewed from a point outside the main axis, the viewer can enjoy excellent picture quality due to wide viewing angles, which cardinally distinguishes these models from most LCD TVs, which suffer from blurred colors and lower contrast.

LG 4K ULTRA HD TV sets have an IPS panel with the resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, providing maximum natural colors and an incredibly wide viewing angle.

True Black Control local darkening technology creates deeper shades of black on the screen, Natural Color minimizes color errors, and Contrast Optimizer improves contrast and brightness. The built-in 4K High Efficiency Video Codec HEVC supports 30p and 60p content from external devices – so LG TVs are compatible with future ultra-high-definition signal transmission standards. LG SMART AUDIO’S LATEST WIRELESS AUDIO SERIES

The new LG SMART AUDIO line includes the first Wi-Fi portable, battery-operated audio system H4 Portable/NP8350 controlled by the special LG Music Flow app, updated Wi-Fi soundbar models HS7/LAS750M and HS9/LAS950M and the 3D Blu-ray DiscTM/DVD player BP550 , compatible with all Smart Audio devices. Any LG SMART AUDIO Series unit can be used individually or paired with others.

Wireless connection via Wi-Fi hub network and dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz provides continuous and stable music playback.
