Lenovo unveils Miix 510 universal laptop-transformer at IFA 2016

Berlin, Germany – September 1, 2016: Lenovo unveiled the new Miix 510 Transformer laptop at IFA. Miix 510 runs on Windows operating system and offers its users the freedom of choice: work on the keyboard when you need it, or leave it at home, taking the tablet with you on the road.

The Miix 510 is first and foremost a tablet format and functionality combined with the comfort and convenience of a full-size, full-featured keyboard. The Transformer, powered by a 6th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor max , packs the laptop-like performance you need for content creation.

And if you detach the keyboard, it turns into a tablet for entertainment and surfing the Internet. It can be a presentation device, an e-book, or a work laptop. The Miix 510 is an all-in-one PC with up to 7.5 hours of battery life1 ready to go all day, from morning till night.

Thanks to its articulated design, the built-in stand has a 150% swivel angle, and the Miix 510 is always comfortable to use, no matter its location. The novelty runs Windows 10 and is capable of performing the same tasks as a laptop: word processing, data entry and analysis, editing and design.

Take notes, sketch, drawings and more on the full-size touchscreen combined with the backlit keyboard or the digital pen using the new Windows Ink™ technology. Keyboard features increased key depth for enhanced tactile response and more natural finger movement.

Miix 510 features a 12.2-inch touch display and up to 1TB2 SSD with PCIe. You can instantly save your favorite movies and shows on your tablet before you go and enjoy them on the go.

In addition to Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0, Miix 510 supports LTE optional . So if Wi-Fi is not available, you can use the mobile network. And even charge your smartphone without having to think about finding an outlet. The Transformer weighs 880 grams without the keyboard, and is only 9.9 mm thick.
