Lenovo presents the Moto Z family of smartphones in America

New York, November 24, 2016: Today Lenovo has officially unveiled two Moto Z family smartphones – the Moto Z and Moto Z Play models – on the American market. Both models feature 5.5-inch screens, the latest generation of USB Type-C connectors, and support adding features with Moto Mods.

Moto Z: the world’s thinnest premium smartphone

Moto Z smartphone is equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The use of parts made of stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminum makes the body tough, extremely thin only 5.2 mm and very light. The quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM ensure high performance of Moto Z smartphone. Built-in memory of 32 GB can be expanded with microSD cards up to 2 TB.

The Moto Z takes photos and videos with its 13 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus, as well as a 5 megapixel front camera with wide angle lens and optional flash for high quality selfies even in challenging lighting conditions.

Phones and communications

The Moto Z body has a water-repellent nano-coating that protects it from rain, splashes and spilled liquids. Built-in fingerprint sensor is responsible for quick unlocking of the smartphone. The battery provides up to 30 hours of battery life, and with TurboPower™, up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of rapid charging.

Moto Z Play: all for entertainment around the clock

The Moto Z Play has a one-piece aluminum chassis with a glass back and a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass . High performance is provided by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 3 GB of RAM. Built-in memory is 32GB and can be expanded with microSD cards up to 2TB.

Despite its thickness of just under 7 mm, the Moto has the highest capacity Moto 3,150 mAh battery, which provides up to 50 hours of continuous use and supports TurboPower™ fast charging technology, ensuring up to nine hours of battery life after just 15 minutes of charging.

The smartphone is equipped with a main camera with a high resolution sensor – 16 megapixel, which is equipped with two systems of autofocus – phase and laser, optical image stabilization, and a dual LED flash. A 5-megapixel front camera with a wide angle lens and its own flash is responsible for taking selfies.
