Lenovo innovations at CES 2018: from smartphones to PC and home assistant

Lenovo unveiled its vision of current technology at CES 2018. From smartphones to PCs to smart home solutions, a new portfolio of devices is set to make users’ lives more comfortable this year.

Lenovo’s new VR solutions bring virtual reality closer. Lenovo Mirage Solo autonomous headset for Google Daydream platform is one of the easiest ways to dive into the VR world. The device is completely self-contained, easy to use and affordable. New headset lets you view footage from Lenovo Mirage Camera in 3D. Professionals from various industries can also improve their work process with augmented reality technology, using the Lenovo C220 smart glasses. They provide all the augmented reality features of a smartphone.

Lenovo laptops have also received a number of new features. The camera runs on the Qualcomm Connected Camera platform, which supports two high-resolution cameras, built-in WiFi, and the LTE version also includes the X9 LTE wireless modem.

Lenovo New Glass C220 system consists of Glass Unit glasses and Pocket Unit and is capable of recognizing and identifying real world objects using artificial intelligence technology. The lightweight 60-gram glasses run the Android OS. Augmented reality is broadcast to one eye, while the other sees its surroundings unchanged. Using the LNV AH Cloud app, the handheld can be connected to a smart phone. The New Glass C220 is suitable for use in a variety of work and training scenarios, from gathering information about surrounding objects to receiving step-by-step instructions for repairing equipment or working remotely with colleagues.

Lenovo NBD AH Cloud 2.0, an enterprise SaaS platform based on augmented reality, artificial intelligence and big data technologies. It enhances the work of staff in the field. Lenovo Smart Display with Google Assistant is a convenient, intuitive assistant for connecting with e-services and smart devices. It’s capable of sending voice or screen commands to smart home systems, such as adjusting lighting and heating. In addition, Google Assistant can pave routes on Google Maps, search clips on YouTube, make video calls through Google Duo, play music and perform other commands. Lenovo Smart Display is available with an 8-inch or 10-inch screen and is powered by the Qualcomm Home Hub Platform.
