DESIGN FEATURES
The model is equipped with Rolsen’s proprietary Proline system+. This system implements special image enhancement technologies such as stabilizing fast-moving objects, preventing blur, and ensuring clear dynamic scenes. Digital comb filter is used for better color transitions. Note the convenient ability to swivel the TV on the stand. Some of the connectors for external devices point to the side, some to the rear.
PICTURE QUALITY
Rolsen RL-26A09105U showed a large margin of brightness, rich black and white colors. Viewing angle characteristics are as follows: the picture gets noticeably darker at the angle of about 45 degrees downwards, colors noticeably change when viewing from an angle of about 60 degrees, the contrast decreases when you tilt it sideways from an angle of about 80 degrees.
Playback at 1080p from HDMI input and the resolution is about 650 TV lines. The color palette is quite natural, some people might think it’s a bit oversaturated, but unfortunately there is no color adjustment, only the skin tone adjustment and 3-step temperature regulation.
The comb on the moving oblique lines is practically not noticeable. Shades of black are displayed with reasonably good clarity from perpendicular to the screen and above. The detail of bright scenes is not bad.
With a 1080p signal from the component input, the resolution was about 520-530 TV lines. Flesh tones are quite natural. Note the large margin of color, shades of black quite good. White objects on a white background are displayed with pretty good detail. Digital artifacts like combing are practically invisible, you can influence this parameter by adjusting the sharpness and noise reduction.
AUDIO QUALITY
Rolsen RL-26A09105U showed a large volume reserve, but at the maximum volume scale a little distortion is noticeable.
Also features surround sound modes, auto volume control.
You can use the 5-band equalizer to adjust the tone.
SERVICE FEATURES
PIP function allows you to view two images from different sources on the screen simultaneously. You can choose from four different internal picture sizes to suit your taste. Adjust the size of “Picture in Picture” is made either through the menu, or a separate button on the remote control.
Menu is in the center of the screen. You can set the time the menu is displayed on the screen and the degree of transparency.
Also note the tamper protection function.
