The year of Kilimanjaro volcano conquest, the appearance of the first electric data processing device, the year of birth of the inimitable Charlie Chaplin… And it is since 1889, from a small family-owned company in the German city of Leipzig, that the Kö rting.
When they created this new, specialized series of kitchen appliances, the Kö rting was inspired by the brand’s rich history and the pioneering spirit inherent in 1889. The design of the series gives preference to neoclassical forms: a combination of minimalism, strict geometry and simple linear forms with a noble, but not pretentious, restrained decoration. Typical of neoclassicism, the subtle interweaving of classical elegance with innovative technology is of particular importance here.
K-Seriesö The Indesit 1889 series includes built-in ovens gas and electric and gas hobs. A choice of 5 color options black, red, copper, sand and champagne and a variety of sizes of burners allow for easy adaptation to any interior.
A distinctive element of the decor of the 1889 series ovens is the “antique” metal logo plaque, similar to those used on K ovensö rting more than a century ago. The dials and door handle are made entirely of brass, which emphasizes the solidity and reliability of the appliance.
Despite the slightly nostalgic look of the new models, 1889 ovens are equipped with the most modern features and technology. A variety of cooking modes 9 on electric models and 5 on gas models allows you complete freedom to prepare the most complicated dishes in your home kitchen. Handy acoustic timer to set the start time and duration of the oven, so you don’t have to keep an eye on the cooking process.
The handy pizza stone, included in the 1889 ovens, is an indispensable aid for all lovers of Italian cuisine. High temperature and the porous structure of the stone work a miracle: it extracts extra water from dough and makes the crusts as crispy as in a real brick oven!
A unique feature of the 1889 gas ovens is the convector function. Combined with gas heating it distributes the heat evenly inside the oven, for perfectly baked dishes.
Full comfort is guaranteed by the two telescopic guides that slide out of the oven completely: thanks to them, the pizza stone tray can be easily pulled out with one hand.
The triple glazing of the oven door ensures that the smallest members of the family are completely safe: the front temperature remains at an absolutely safe temperature of 35°C throughout the cooking process.
Kö Rting 1889 available in two sizes: 60 and 70 cm. Each model is equipped with an extra powerful WOK zone: Three rows of flames help heat quickly and evenly on the bottom of the pot without leaving any cold spots. WOK saucepan holder for placing WOK dishes on the burner, included in the delivery set. The gas pilot control system continuously controls the flame and the convenient automatic ignition device guarantee the maximum safety and comfort in use.
