Such resolution allows you to see not only the overall picture of the road, but also to consider important details, which can be useful during the analysis of the accident or in a dispute with a traffic police patrol. The difference between the carā€™s license plate number and the number of the person who caused the accident is evident, as well as the sign hiding behind bushes, or the road marking.

Settings of both recorders are optimized for shooting in all traffic conditions. For example, their iris is maximally open, so that more light falls on the sensor the C537 has an aperture of F2.0, in C550 ā€“ F1.8 , and the angle of view of the lens is designed so as to capture in the frame of all the lanes and curbs 130 Ā° and 140 Ā° C537 and C550, respectively . Both devices have glass lenses that do not become muddy with time and do not ā€œfloatā€ in the heat. C550 works with high-sensitivity Sony sensor, C537 works with SOI F02 sensor.

Comfort on the go

The new recorders not only continuously capture images on the move, they also provide reliable and unobtrusive insurance for the driver. Both are equipped with a GPS module that monitors the movement of the car, recording its coordinates at any time. This can come in handy for sorting out traffic accidents, and also save money on speeding tickets. Each recorder comes with GPS coordinates of all major police cameras, and when a car approaches one of them, the device will give a warning signal in advance, so the driver has time to smoothly slow down.

The recorders start recording automatically when the driver turns on the ignition. The clips are stored on the memory card and are re-recorded as it is full ā€“ all except for the ā€œemergencyā€ episodes, which the device ā€œstoresā€ in a separate indelible section. Emergency situation is any situation when your car was bumped, braked too fast, or shifted in the lane too fast. The three-axis G-sensor detects such incidents, and gives the electronics a command to identify and save the ā€œsuspiciousā€ video clip. The sensor can work even in the parking lot, when the owner is not in the car.

In order not to distract the driver while driving, a screen saver is provided that turns off the image on the display, leaving only the most important information ā€“ the current speed and time. Reliable swivel mount allows you to place the recorder in any car and be sure to get everything you need in the frame.
