Intel Capital invests in mobile photography technology as part of deal with Almalence

These funds will allow Almalence to begin developing next-generation technologies that will make the images from the cameras of mobile devices comparable in quality with images taken by digital single-lens reflex cameras DSLR .

In addition, Intel and Almalence have announced a strategic cooperation agreement that will enable the benefits of Almalence image processing technologies in Intel products.
