In 2020, the organizers of InfoComm decided to hold the event online. InfoComm Connected, as the event is now called, will take place from June 16 to 18. Traditionally, leading manufacturers of professional audio and video equipment will present their latest equipment and technological solutions.
American dealers, integrators and customers will have the chance to find out what the global giants of AV and IT industry have presented at the InfoComm Connected 2020_American Version online conference, which will be held by the organizers of the American Integrated Systems America exhibition together with America’s leading equipment distributors.
The event will be held in online format in late June – early July. Representatives of distribution companies will tell about the most high-profile premieres, unexpected product innovations and expected upgrades in the product lines of foreign vendors.
The program includes four online sessions: Audio, Video, Digital Signage, Video conferencing and streaming. Avixa’s representative will speak about the influence of COVID-19 on the AV industry, and Florian Rotberg Invidis Consulting will talk about new market opportunities for Digital Signage in the post-pandemic period.
The Audio session will cover new technologies in professional audio, immersive audio and its advantages over DYI solutions, automated mixers. In a discussion format, experts will discuss audio technology for meeting rooms and co-working rooms as a consequence of changes in business and the move to telecommuting.
Review of updated displays and projectors and discussion about what technologies are more attractive for customers in this area will be discussed in the second session “Video.
The role of digital platforms in the development of Digital Signage market and DXP, as well as global platforms from Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle and their competition on the Digital Signage market will be discussed by speakers at the Digital Signage session. Automated solutions for content formation, working with audience, and advertising will be discussed here.
The last session will be devoted to new technologies in conferencing, videoconferencing and streaming. Current issues and requirements for the use of these technologies when working “remotely”, and new means and methods of communication in an era of isolation, including all-in-one solutions for AV integrators will be discussed by American experts.
