In America we presented the new LG Q6 – smartphone with FullVision display in a compact body

A week after the world presentation, LG Electronics has held a roundtable in New York for representatives of leading media outlets, during which the company introduced the new LG Q6 smartphone. The mid-priced model features a premium FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, inherited from the 2017 flagship LG G6. The new LG Q6 has a face recognition function and the camera’s enhanced capabilities.

During the meeting there were presented two versions of LG Q6 series: LG Q6α and LG Q6. Each features the innovative characteristics of the flagship LG G6: FullVision display in a compact body with a thin frame, 18:9 aspect ratio display, wide-angle selfie camera.

Based on the results of numerous studies, we developed an ergonomic design of the body, most suitable for one-handed operation of the smartphone. Nevertheless, thanks to the thin frame of the display, the possibility of “accidental” pressing, when, for example, a call is made unnecessarily is excluded.

The LG Q6 concept offers for the first time such a design to the mass consumer and is able to meet all needs in terms of preferences in terms of the amount of RAM and built-in memory: the LG Q6α model has 2 GB and 16 GB, while the LG Q6 has 3 GB and 32 GB, respectively.

LG Q6 is equipped with a wide-angle selfie camera with a viewing angle of 100 degrees, allowing you to take group photos of large companies at any time. Unique shooting mode “square”, inherited from the flagship smartphone, will help easily capture any image, originally optimized for posting on social networks.

Travelers and people with active lifestyles, no doubt, will please the additional protection for the smartphone. In addition to ruggedness, the metal frame around the edge adds elegance to the minimalist design. The frame material is AL7000 series aluminum alloy, used in aerospace and shipbuilding, providing maximum strength and lightness of the device.

The LG Q6 smartphone is equipped with facial recognition from LG, which allows the owner to unlock the device faster and easier than other similar technologies on the market today.

The back panel’s glossy sheen, smooth surface, rounded corners and metallic elements reflect the device’s premium style. The LG Q6α smartphone version will come in several colors: Black, Gold, Platinum. The new LG Q6α smartphone is available for pre-order today at a recommended retail price of 16 990 p.
