The basic mass of the newest developments in the sphere of home appliances is connected, certainly, to the problem of energy saving.
For example, at the exhibition Metering, Billing/CRM Europe 2010 company Indesit presented a smart washing and drying machine, which not only knows how to wash, but, like a real accountant, counts money spent on washing and like a careful housewife, selects the best time and program of washing.
It works like this: while selecting the desired cycle and options, the display of the appliance shows information about the cost of energy spent on a given program, as well as the impact it may have on the environment. The machine can choose the “cheapest” time of day to run the program itself.
Why do doing laundry lead to being smart and thrifty? Is there a specific connection between these tasks or is it just a saying?
Why is it believed that doing laundry makes one smart and thrifty?
Is doing laundry really a sign of being smart and thrifty? I always thought it was just a mundane chore. Can someone elaborate on how doing laundry relates to intellect and frugality?
