HyperX expands SSD line with FURY RGB SSD and SAVAGE EXO SSD

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, Inc., Announces HyperX® FURY RGB SSD and HyperX® SAVAGE EXO SSD. The FURY RGB SSD is designed for gamers who demand faster and smoother loading of their games. RGB backlighting at the same time makes the system brighter and more beautiful. Savage EXO SSD, our second new drive, is a high-performance external hard drive that can be used for storing and quickly running applications.

Both SSDs use 3D NAND technology for power efficiency and durability, and offer high read and write speeds-10 times faster than a 7200 RPM hard drive. The new HyperX FURY RGB SSD and HyperX SAVAGE EXO SSD offer gamers, overclockers and system developers a storage solution that meets a range of requirements:

1. Enhanced Visual Experience: The FURY RGB SSD is visually stunning, yet ideal for gaming, overclocking, and do-it-yourself building.

It features a read speed of up to 550 MB/s and write speed of up to 480 MB/s, and an impressive light bar with customizable dynamic RGB backlight effects. The drive is compatible with motherboards that support RGB backlighting and multiple RGB devices, and can be daisy-chained to synchronize RGB effects with other system components.

FURY RGB SSD is available in capacities of 240GB, 480GB and 960GB.4 The drive is sold both as a standalone SSD and with an upgrade kit that includes a USB 3 case.0, 3.5″ bracket and mounting screws as well as RGB cable, SATA data cable, USB 3 cable.1 Type A for mini-USB and hard drive cloning software.

SAVAGE EXO SSD delivers 500MB/s read speed and 400MB/s write speed, easily connects to Windows and Mac, and is compatible with XBOX One and PS4 via USB 3.1 second-generation.5
