Huawei announces the launch of the new generation of smart watch Huawei Watch 2, combining the functions of a modern smartphone and a powerful fitness tracker in the format of a classic wrist accessory.
When creating the smart watch Watch 2, Huawei engineers focused on users who lead an active lifestyle, but need to always take their smartphones with them to stay in touch with colleagues and family. Now they have the opportunity to send messages and use applications in 3G and 4G networks using a smart watch in fully autonomous mode.
Now they can leave their smartphone at home when they go for a run, go to the gym, or even go hiking, and stay connected at all times. The new watch can work, supporting a separate mobile number, a duplicate SIM card for the main number or e-sim in case the operator supports this technology. Always connected
With the built-in 4G module, the Huawei Watch 2 LTE is able to connect to mobile networks independently of your smartphone. VoLTE support and noise cancellation system with two microphones guarantee high sound quality. Antennas for 4G, GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC are integrated into the top case, so the watch provides stable connectivity despite the device’s compact size of 48.9×45×12.6 mm.
Personal fitness consultant
The Huawei Watch 2 has a full range of fitness tracker features and is equipped with sensors and algorithms to track body condition and monitor physical activity. Built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, heart rate monitor, geomagnetic sensor and light sensor analyze distance traveled, speed, number of steps, heart rate and range, oxygen and calories consumed, pace, routes and more. Based on the data collected, special apps help improve the efficiency of workouts and monitor physical activity in everyday life.
Just push the crown of your watch to start your workout, and “Slimming Run” or “Cardio Run” will start instantly, monitoring all your parameters to help you maintain the most efficient pace. During training, the Huawei Watch 2 automatically displays information and prompts without having to open menus.
Based on the training program you have selected, it tells you the distance you’ve covered, the status of your program, warns you if your heart rate is too high, and recommends that you speed up or slow down at any point in your workout. After you finish your workout, it compiles a report with all your activity parameters, recommended rest times and an estimate of your expected return.
Other useful apps pre-installed on the Watch 2 include Daily Tracking, which accurately counts steps walked during the day and the number of breaks during long periods of sedentary activity. Collected information is clearly displayed, motivating the user to lead a more mobile lifestyle. The watch also measures your resting heart rate Resting Heart Rate , saving data to the activity monitor app.

Huawei Watch 2 is made of high-quality materials in the design of a classic wrist chronograph with a diameter of 45 mm. Two “crowns” serve for quick access to applications, and a ceramic bezel makes it easy to control functions.
1.2-inch 390×390-dot AMOLED touchscreen display with multiple watch face layouts that give you quick access to the most popular features and apps. A pixel density of 326 ppi gives you a detailed display that makes it easy to read texts and navigate apps. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and protected against moisture and dust with IP 68, it will last even in high use.
Smarter, tougher
New Android Wear 2 OS version.0 allows you to use the watch in conjunction with mobile devices on iOS and Android and choose applications to suit any taste from an extensive library. Touch control, speech recognition and voice functions simplify interaction with the device, allowing you to answer calls and messages with ease. New mobile payment technology simplifies and increases the security of payments with the watch. Optimized battery provides longer battery life compared to the previous model. Battery capacity of 420 mA*h is enough for two days of work in standard mode, 10 hours in training mode and up to three weeks in classic watch mode.
