HUAWEI introduces the HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro, a device that offers ultra-high broadband speeds and smart Dual-link functionality. This router is designed to provide the best connection quality regardless of the distance to the device to be connected. Based on the Balong 5000 chipset, the 5G CPE Pro has taken a breakthrough in 5G deployment and accessibility to consumer devices worldwide.
New unique features of the HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro router are provided by Balong 5000 chipset, the world’s first multi-mode 5G modem. With the Balong 5000, the router supports broadband coverage in the Sub-6 GHz sub-band with a theoretical download speed of 4.6 Gbps. The actual download speed of HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro on commercial networks reaches 3.2Gbps. HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro also supports commercial applications for dual-mode 4G and 5G elements. Dual-mode elements allow devices originally designed for 4G to provide 5G coverage without serious strain.
Incorporating a number of new technologies, HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro is the most compact device currently available on the market. Equipped with dual heat sinks with high thermal conductivity and streamlined aerodynamic design, HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro can withstand long and intense loads without performance degradation. A hole in the bottom of the device creates a “chimney” effect, increasing heat dissipation efficiency by 30%, and allowing the device to cool faster through convection.
HUAWEI 5G CPE Pro’s 5G network speed increased by 60 percent. As shown at the press conference, an HD video clip can be downloaded in three seconds, demonstrating a 21x increase in download speed compared to a 4G Cat 4 network.
The device also supports HUAWEI HiLink technology, which allows the 5G CPE Pro to connect to any network in literally one click. This smartphone-to-smartphone connectivity platform supports connectivity and interoperability for all types of smart devices.
