HUAWEI introduces a new fitness bracelet HUAWEI Band 4e, designed with the needs of sports, fitness and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts. The bracelet is equipped with a set of intelligent functions and technologies for monitoring sport training, including 6-axis motion sensor, running parameters tracking, basketball training mode, professional analysis and recommendations on technique and much more. The bracelet features the ability to be worn both on your arm and on your sneaker, allowing for more accurate measurements during running and basketball workouts. Wearable option: put it on and go!

Most of the wearable devices on the market are in a watch or bracelet format, and are designed to be worn on the wrist. HUAWEI Band 4e bracelet supports the option of wearing it on athletic shoes, which provides more accurate tracking of exercise and improves the effectiveness of running training, reducing the risk of injury. The bracelet comes with a special buckle that allows you to securely fix the device to your running shoes. Wearable mode is automatically activated when the buckle is connected, user only need to choose running or basketball training mode. In running mode, the bracelet tracks jogging, impact when you touch the surface, deviation from the course, the angle of the foot, the time of contact with the ground, the frequency and length of steps.

When worn on the wrist bracelet provides all the necessary functions of a wearable device, including notification of calls and messages, heart rate monitoring, daily activity, sleep quality and performance of various workouts, including swimming.

Basketball training

Basketball is growing in popularity around the world, so for basketball fans, HUAWEI has developed a personalized training program. Wearing the bracelet on the sneaker and starting the appropriate mode, the user gets a lot of useful information in real time, including the number and height of vertical jumps, their maximum and average height, the duration of hovering, speed chart, training duration, distance covered, calories spent, number of steps, activity time and percentage of activity.

After training, HUAWEI Health app calculates training results with a special algorithm. Based on this data and the app’s recommendations, the athlete can adjust the training strategy. The results can be shared with friends and teammates or discussed in online groups.

New motion sensor for running analysis

For effective running training, it is important to monitor technique and load to avoid injury and health damage. The new fitness bracelet HUAWEI Band 4e has a 6-axis motion sensor, which is a 3-axis gyroscope, combined with a 3-axis acceleration sensor, and is able to measure the linear movement of the X, Y and Z axes and rotational motion, including rotation angle and angular speed, providing the measurement and fixation of any movement of the hand or foot user.

Together with the China Institute of Sports Science, HUAWEI developed seven-point running technique analysis algorithm, which can make real-time professional recommendations to improve running performance.

For any workout

High quality construction and water protection to 5 atmospheres guarantee the durability of the bracelet. During tests in HUAWEI’s lab, the bracelet was subjected to a variety of tests, including falling from a height, squeezing, twisting and stretching, exposure to high humidity and temperatures ranging from -40 to 70°C, as well as prolonged exposure to saline, grease and alcohol.

The bracelet is based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor and has 1 MB of flash memory. Monochrome PMOLED display with 48×88 dots resolution is 11.2×6.1 mm. Lithium battery with a capacity of 77mAh for up to 14 days in typical use and up to 21 days in standby mode. Weight of the device is only 13 grams.

In America HUAWEI Band 4e will be available in the colors of smoky gray Misty Grey and Sakura Coral Sakura Coral at a recommended retail price of 1790 Dollars. Other strap colors will be available in addition. The novelty will be available for sale on September 26 at the official online store.huawei and in the company’s partner stores.
