HUAWEI expands its tablet lineup with the new HUAWEI MatePad

HUAWEI Consumer Business Group presents in America tablet HUAWEI MatePad – easy tool for learning, communication and leisure. Tablet is equipped with bright frameless 10.4-inch screen, vision protection function, powerful sound system, Kirin 810 processor and a whole set of smart technologies, which simplify solving everyday problems. HUAWEI MatePad inherits the design of the flagship model, which are complemented by a premium body finish and a bright screen. Narrow bezel with 7.9 mm width provides 84% usable screen area. The center frame with wireless antennas are integrated with the chassis, forming a lightweight, compact design at a weight of 450g.

Multimedia features

HUAWEI MatePad tablet has a frameless 2K screen with a diagonal of 10.4 inches, a resolution of 2000×1200 and a pixel density of 224 PPI. It reproduces 70.8% of the NTSC color gamut, producing bright, natural images with high detail and contrast. ClariVu image enhancement technology developed by HUAWEI, which is a set of optimization algorithms, increases the saturation and clarity of dark frames and scenes.

With support for Histen 6.0 HUAWEI MatePad provides immersive surround sound. Four high-amplitude speakers and four-channel amplifier give you high quality sound during gaming and movie watching. The system tuning by Harman Kardon experts guarantees clear reproduction of even the most complicated sound scenes.

HUAWEI MatePad is based on the energy efficient 8-core Kirin 810 processor with 7nm process technology. Processor includes two Cortex A76 cores running at 2.27 GHz and six small, energy-saving A55 cores. Intelligent algorithm allocates processor resources to ensure efficient operation in various modes. Modified Mali-G52 graphics module and GPU Turbo 3 video optimization technology.0 provide smooth operation of the graphical interface for high-definition video playback and resource-intensive video games.

The Kirin 810 processor also integrates the Da Vinci neural computing module, which is responsible for processing artificial intelligence algorithms and provides a wide range of intelligent features that increase comfort and simplify the daily tasks of modern users.
