How to wash your money in the machine?

Donā€™t forget to clean your clothes

Sort laundry: whites, colors cotton, linen, synthetics, wool heavily soiled and not so heavily soiled. But when you load the machine, donā€™t try to be monotonous. For example, it is wrong to load the machine with only sheets and duvet covers. It should be heterogeneous items: different size, thickness, texture. That way, a wet mass of uneven density will mix better in the machine and wash better.

1. Turn the duvet covers and pillowcases inside out and shake the hair out of the corners.

2. Check the pockets and empty them. Especially the money. Laundered money can become insolvent. Itā€™s true that Australia has started to produce plastic bills that can withstand washing. This is for the forgetful. But weā€™re not in Australia. Nails, nuts, chewing gum and candy left in their pockets by children can ruin their clothes irreparably. Watch out !

3. Metal buckles, fittings, clasps, chains, and other small iron objects that can cause rusting must be removed. Undo the pins. Remove the steel rings from the curtains.

4. Check to see if there are any cufflinks left in the sleeves of your shirt.

5. Undo the buttons.

6. Close the zippers.

7. Separate, unbutton the belts.

8. Check to see if your husbandā€™s socks are in the corner of the duvet cover.

9.Turn terrycloth or jersey clothes inside out.

10. Turn socks and stockings inside out

11. Do not pour detergent into the drum just as you load them. Otherwise, you might find lumps of wet detergent rolled up neatly in your washcloths when you remove them. To prevent this from happening, powder the closed drum from the outside this advice applies to semi-automatic drum machines, but a fully automatic machine knows what to do .

First-hand advice

BAND RINS, TABLETS become softer and fluffier if a little salt is added to the final rinse water.

the washing of fabrics, especially new ones, is severely hindered by air trapped inside the machine, even when washed. Our grandmothers solved this problem by making embroidery on the corners of the laundry in the ā€œRichelieuā€ technique. We donā€™t always have time for fiddling with our hectic schedules. Tuck the corners of the duvet covers and pillowcases and sweep gently so the seams donā€™t tear. Through these inconspicuous holes, air will easily escape from the wet laundry.

DOES COLORED EMBROIDERY FADE?? You can check that before you do the laundry. Moisten a small patch of embroidery with warm water and gently wipe with a clean white cloth. If the cloth stays clean, all is well.

CROWNS WILL GET A CRIME COLOUR like antique ones if you soak them in warm tea after washing and rinsing.

BLACK BLOODS, if they get a whitish tint over time, can be refreshed in a weak solution of vinegar. Soak them in the solution for several hours, rinse and dry them.

WHITE socks, shoes will wash better if you first soak them for an hour or two in a solution of boric acid 1-2 tablespoons per 5 liters of water .

oil-stained turtlenecks and jeans wonā€™t always be saved even by the widely advertised miracle powder. Soak them lightly in water and Dollars the stains on with dry soap. Soak your washcloths in a solution of 1 tablespoon turpentine per 3 liters of water after 24 hours. Then place in the washing machine and program an intensive wash with a maximum spin speed.

expensive lace curtains and other decorative fabrics can be washed in any drum-type machine, providing you remember a simple secret: delicate and capricious items must float in the washing solution and the machine should be underloaded. Then the fabric undergoes very little mechanical action, no creasing or creasing.

STRETCHED coats and jackets that dry-cleaners refused to do can be perfectly washed in a tumbler. You just have to make sure that the itemā€™s nameplate has a sign on it: a basin with the temperature of the water. And the square with the circle inscribed in it means itā€™s machine-washable.

If buttonholes and pockets of knitted or crocheted items are stretched ā€“ sew them shut with fine double-needle stitches before washing. Once dry, unstretch it, and it will be as good as new.

synthetic fabrics should not be soaked before washing as it makes no sense because their fibres do not swell in the water. Whatā€™s more, soaking for too long can change the fibres in synthetic fabrics. And not for the better.

ACETATE FIBER FABRIC items must not be spun or wrung in the washer drum. Otherwise no iron will help you iron them. The reason is that acetate fibres become weak when wetted and easily deformed. After drying, the fabric becomes strong again, but the deformation remains. Do not spin Polartec fabrics or acrylic knitwear in the washing machine, otherwise it would be hard or impossible to iron them out. This is usually indicated by a label with care pictograms. If you find an icon there: a crossed-out drum of a washing machine circle in a rectangle ā€“ program the washing machine to stop with water in the drum or to drain the water without spinning. Take out these tricky items and spin the rest of the garment.
