Hisense officially launched the first self-made Hi-View processor HV8107

Hisense officially released the first self-made Hi-View HV8107 processor. It supports 8K resolution and Artificial Intelligence-based analysis algorithms. The development strengthens the companyā€™s competitive advantage on the market of image display technology. The new processor marks Hisenseā€™s breakthrough in the commercial use of 8K for ultra-high definition UHD video solutions.

Yu Zhitao, vice president of Hisense group and president of Hisenseā€™s imaging technology division, said publicly that 2022 will be a radical transformation in the TV manufacturing market: instead of price and screen diagonal, processors and picture quality will be the main conditions of competitiveness.

It is for this reason that ultramodern processors are at the core of Hisenseā€™s strategy for large screen TVs.In 2005, Hisense developed its first proprietary processor for digital video processing, which has been widely commercialized. The recently released Hisense processor is the companyā€™s 5th generation processor. It is the first to support 8K resolution and has fundamentally new image processing algorithms using Artificial Intelligence.

The Hi-View HV8107 processor not only processes signals for more than thirty-three million pixels 33,000,000 pixels . The screenā€™s 26,880 individual part control technology and Artificial Intelligence image perception function can increase resolution and contrast, and create a three-dimensional image effect for viewers to enjoy the ultimate viewing experience. In addition, the processor provides a high degree of detail of fast-moving objects, improves the quality of color reproduction and effectively performs dynamic noise reduction.

The processor is already in mass production and will be used in different series of TV sets of different brands within the Hisense group of companies, including Toshiba. In addition to televisions, the processor can also be used to create professional 8K control video monitors. It is reported that Hisense has made a significant contribution to the research and development program ā€œScientific and Technical Winter Olympics. Hisense is cooperating with China Media Group to develop 8K resolution reference video monitors, which will contribute to the development of the 8K UHD technology industry.
