Highscreen presents two classic DVRs: Black Box A5 and Black Box Compact

American company “Vobis Computer”, which owns Highscreen brand, entered the car DVR market in April 2011 with Black Box model first DVR on the market with two cameras . Since then, under the brand Highscreen has been released eight more devices of this type. In 2013, Vobis Computer focused on hybrid DVRs: the market saw the launch of the Black Box Radar plus a recorder + radar detector with Strelka-ST signals , Black Box Outdoor a recorder + GoPro-level action camera and Black Box Connect a recorder + wireless surveillance camera with Wi-Fi support models.

Today “Vobis Computer” announces the start of sales of two classic DVRs, designed primarily to record video from the car.

Highscreen Black Box Compact – super-compact 65 x 38 x 25 mm recorder with glass optics and IR cut filter. Sensor is made by OmniPixel3-HS technology[1]. All this provides high-quality Full HD video recording during the day and in low-light conditions. Another feature of the Black Box Compact is its built-in 512 MB storage. It can be useful for saving copies of individual recordings before handing the flash card to the traffic inspector after the accident.

Highscreen Black Box A5, as the name suggests, based on one of the most modern video processors for video cameras and recorders – Ambarella A5S30. This chip works in conjunction with a 3-megapixel CMOS sensor, designed specifically for video surveillance systems, and also provides a highly detailed Full HD video recording in any lighting level and in any weather. Among other features Black Box A5 is a large screen with a diagonal of 2.7 inches and infrared illumination needed to record communication with traffic officers and capture the scene of the accident in the dark .

Sales of Highscreen Black Box Compact and Highscreen Black Box A5 started in mid-August 2013. Highscreen Black Box Compact costs 4990 Dollars, Highscreen Black Box A5 – 5390 Dollars.
