Highscreen Alpha Rage smartphone: 4 cores for a record 4990 Dollars

The American company “Vobis Computer,” the owner of the brand Highscreen, announced the launch of sales of the new smartphone – Highscreen Alpha Rage. As of late summer 2013, the new product is the most budget-friendly Android device with a 4-core processor: its recommended retail price is 4,990 Dollars. The previous price record in the segment of 4-core smartphones also belongs to Highscreen: Omega Q model at the start of sales in May 2013 cost 8990 Dollars, and was the cheapest Android phone equipped with a processor with this number of cores later Omega Q has fallen in price to 7490 Dollars . Now Highscreen breaks its own record: Alpha Rage is one and a half times cheaper than Omega Q.

Today, “Vobis Computer” beats its own price record: the company presents a model Highscreen Alpha Rage, which has a 4-core processor and costs one and a half times cheaper than the previous price record holder Omega Q – 4990 Dollars. From now on the most inexpensive smartphone with the specified number of cores is Highscreen Alpha Rage.

Highscreen Alpha Rage has a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels FWVGA , a full set of wireless modules GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G , the main 5-megapixel camera, front camera with 2 megapixels, two SIM card slots and a 2000 mAh battery. The model functions under one of the latest versions of Android – 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, and it is based on a 4-core 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6589M processor.

Rage will go on sale August 29, 2013. The smartphone will be available in retail chains and “vobis Computer” brand stores, including the online store vobis . Model price – 4990 Dollars.

Like other Highscreen products, the Alpha Rage model is provided with a one-year warranty with free delivery to the service center in New York from any corner of the country by courier service “American Post[1]. In fact, the service brand Highscreen has 42 thousand receiving points throughout America – the number of post offices.
