HI-FI & HIGH END SHOW 2019 – registration for attendance is now open.

The oldest American exhibition of hi-fi and high end equipment will once again gather connoisseurs of high-quality sound and image in April. HI-FI & HIGH END SHOW is the largest project in the field of high-class audio and video, which has been held in New York since 1996. This year the show will be held from April 11 to 14. The exhibition offers a “hotel” format, which means the exhibit will be housed in hotel rooms. This format, which has long proved its worth, allows you to hear and see the equipment almost “at home” and visualize it in your own interior. But this year the organizers are not only offering classic solutions.

In addition to the traditional exposition of hi-fi and high end equipment at the exhibition attention will be paid to the development of modern digital technology. HI-FI & HIGH END SHOW 2019 will be supplemented by projects aimed at reviewing and demonstrating new technological trends: HI-FI PORTABLE and HI-FI AUDIO STRIMING.

Hi-Fi Portable will showcase the latest products and innovations in headphones and portable technology. Here you will be able to test the recommended sets, get first-hand information about the novelties from the manufacturers and buy the technology. There will be special touch & try zones with the opportunity to listen to headphones. The project will take place in a separate hall “Panoramic” on the 6th floor of “Aquarium” hotel.

Hi-Fi Streaming is a brand new project that will demonstrate equipment and services for streaming music in high quality. The participants will offer the latest devices and solutions for the judgment of the audience. And during the “BATTLE OF FORMATS”, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, guests will have a unique opportunity to compare analog and digital sound sources. The experiment will feature sets based on five sources: vinyl, hi-rez, magnetic tape on reel-to-reel and cassette, and cd.

The classic project of the exhibition, Hi-Fi Vinyl will once again take its place in Hall 19 on the fourth floor of the hotel. Rare vinyl records, classics and new releases, accessories for vinyl turntables – all this can be seen and bought right here. Professionals and collectors will appreciate the tools for tuning turntables, washing machines, tonearms and cartridges, care products. Unique specialized literature, along with a lecture on vinyl by Mikhail Borzenkov will help enrich the piggy bank of knowledge, both professionals and beginners to the passion for vinyl.

As part of the business program, professionals will learn about the latest trends and share their experiences. The round table for dealers “How to sell Hi-Fi in 2019” co-organized by Stereo is supposed to answer purely professional questions about who buys hi-fi today, how to increase the customer base, how the pricing policy of vendors in relation to America is formed, will there be a change in consumer priorities, etc.d. The speakers will be the largest American distributors and manufacturers of the equipment.
