Toshiba European Storage Products Division announces the Canvio for Desktop external hard drive. Canvio Desk, like its predecessor, combines high capacity up to 6TB with the latest USB 3-interface support.0 for fast and convenient data transfer.

Canvio for Desktop lets you store files and backups in one centralized storage device right next to your PC. Available in 2TB, 3TB, 4TB, 5TB and 6TB capacities, the drive can easily accommodate thousands of photos, files and music tracks. USB 3.0 support.0 Canvio for Desktop offers high-speed transfer speeds, dramatically reducing the time it takes to copy large files. USB 3 interface.0 backwards compatible with USB 2.USB 3.0 support, so it’s safe to connect to previous generation devices. Canvio for Desktop hard drive is formatted NTFS for Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, plus it ships with an NTFS driver for Mac OS, so you can connect it to systems based on one of these operating systems without reformatting.

Securely protect files saved on Canvio for Desktop with preinstalled backup software. It automatically backs up your family photos and videos on a schedule, so you don’t have to worry about them ever again.

Canvio for Desktop has a stylish and practical design: can be placed on your desk both vertically and horizontally. Secure the drive with its own unique password. Canvio for Desktop also features a lock slot to prevent theft or damage to the drive. To save power, ECO power-off technology powers down the hard drive when the computer shuts down at the same time.
