ERGONOMICS

Control

The device is very simple, no display, but most importantly – you can adjust the temperature for any hair type: fine, dyed, normal, stiff and thick hair. It has 6 modes in total, the thermostatically controlled with a thumbwheel.

PREDICTION

!

The small arrow mark that indicates the mode selected for example, 130 ° C , we would recommend to make dark now it is gray, it is almost invisible against the gold background housing straightener .

According to the manual, the tongs “will be ready to use in 1-2 minutes. We decided that for the titanium alloy this is too long and checked the heating time, especially since the indicator light allows you to do this: before reaching the selected temperature, it blinks, and when reached – it is lit steady red light. Interestingly, the test results are as follows: the minimum working temperature of 130 ° C is reached in 23 seconds, and the maximum – 230 ° C – in 45 seconds. The nice thing is that this is several times faster than written in the manual. The manufacturer commented: “The manual specifies the maximum possible heating time.

Unfortunately, no auto-off and automatic voltage switching are provided for those who are forgetful or travel a lot. Lack of these features can be a problem.

Design

There is a small loop for hanging – convenient and practical. Mechanical lock locks straightener in closed position. The cord rotates and does not twist. The plates are slightly sprung it happens more .

The body has a rounded shape and heats up quite a bit that’s why the protective plates! , but it is this feature makes the styler a real “2 in 1” device: you can remove the plates and use the curling tongs. The body almost does not heat up in low temperature modes, but at 200-230 ° C is noticeably hot.

STRAIGHTENING: SUMMARY OF THE TEST TEAM

Our approbants loved the wide temperature range, really great gliding and quality hair straightening. All noted the burning smell when heated. The manual says that at first use this is normal and then it will pass. During our test the smell has weakened, but not completely.

“2 in 1”, smart design protective plates, hinge, locking in closed position , nice modern design, good combination of quality and price.

No ionization, auto power-off or voltage switching. Poorly visible arrow on the Mode Selector Indicator.
