Georgia Coffee

You will need:

This coffee is named after the state of Georgia in the United States, famous for its peaches.

Georgia Coffee

  • 75 ml of strong coffee

  • 1 jar of peach compote 400-500 grams

  • 12 ml of fresh cream

  • Add 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 pinches of ground cinnamon

  • 1 generous pinch of ground ginger

  • Orange zest, as a garnish

  • Cooking for 6 people

    Drain the peach syrup into a bowl. Whisk half of the coffee and the peaches for 1 minute. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream. Pour 25 ml of cold water into a pan and add the sugar, cinnamon, ginger and peach syrup.

    Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 1 minute more. Add the peach puree and remaining coffee and stir the whole mixture. Serve with whipped cream and orange zest.
